Muck is a small and ordinary man, the last poor man. He does not shine with appearance, but his heart is good and just. He does not lose courage and dignity when fate puts him to the test. He goes through the deceptive happiness of high public office and the transience of fame and fortune. He manages to win his right to human happiness and distributes moral justice, and so honestly rises in life. The moral virtues sung by Wilhelm Hauff are greatly shaken today. It is good not to forget them and to educate the future inhabitants of this earth that to be just and honest, to defend your right to human happiness, to fight for the truth are worthy human qualities. We hope that with our show we will contribute at least a little to this.
